Bliss Bowls: Eat Like You Love Yourself

Last January, my partners and I launched our passion project — Bliss Bowls,  Manila’s first smoothie bowl bar.

If you’ve never had a smoothie bowl before, or have no idea what is is, it’s basically a smoothie that you eat in a bowl, with toppings such as granola, fresh fruit, etc.

What makes Bliss Bowls different from other smoothies is that our bowls are made with 100% fruit, vegetables, and superfoods, with no ice, water, dairy, or sugar added.  We worked on the recipes for over a year, and we’re proud to say they’re delicious too:)

Each bowl is packed with premium, all-natural ingredients + toppings such as fruit, granola, chia seeds, flax seeds, cacao nibs, and more.  It’s kind of like ice cream, but better, because you know it’s all-natural and all good for you too.

Our smoothie bowls aren’t just for dessert – you can enjoy them all day, for breakfast, brunch or lunch, a light dinner, or pre- or post-workout snack.  They’re like salad, but colder!

All our smoothie bowl bases are vegan, while our granola may or may not contain honey (we vary the recipe).  Vegans can request for rolled oats for a vegan option, and we also have other nutritional and allergy information available at the shop.

Berry Bliss (P199) is our bestselling bowl that boosts performance, endurance, and immunity.  It is a delicious and refreshing blend of strawberries, beets, banana, and fresh coco water, topped with fruit, granola, and coconut flakes.

Green Dream (P260) is our signature green bowl that is an ideal lunch.  Made with spinach, mango, banana, organic chia seeds, and fresh coco water, it’s like salad, but colder!  Green Dream has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties, and helps promote weight loss and a flat belly.

Green Soul (P199) is made with spinach, banana, coconut or almond milk, granola, and coconut flakes, and has been said to taste like “spinach ice cream!”  This creamy bowl is a great way to get kids to eat their greens.

Cacao Kiss (P260) is an absolutely delicious chocolate bowl that promotes heart health and is a natural anti-depressant.  Made with banana, strawberries, unsweetened cocoa, nut butter, coconut or almond milk, granola, and coconut flakes, this is basically the healthy dessert of your dreams!

Amazing Kale (P260) is our third green bowl made with kale, banana, mango, spirulina, chia seeds, coconut or almond milk, granola, and coconut flakes.

Aside from our Megamall shop, we’ve also popped up at The Gourmand Market, Powerplant Mall, and Mega Fashion Hall (let us know where you’d like us to pop up next!).

And just this June we launched our dessert-sized duos so you can enjoy a perfectly portioned smoothie bowl for as low as P125 / bowl, Build-a-Bowl which lets you choose your own smoothie base and customise your toppings, and our new limited edition Acai Mixed Berries smoothie bowl, made with 100% raw organic Amazonian acai, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries.  We also make our own bliss balls (available by special order at P150/pack) and serve beverages such as almond milk, chia soy milk, ginger tea, hot calamansi with honey, and thick hot chocolate.
