Our Family Tries Belo Baby

One thing I love about having a blog is that I get to try a lot of awesome new products.  And whenever I discover a local product I love, it makes me really happy to be able to support them instead of some imported brand.

Just recently, I attended the launch of Cristalle Belo-Henares’ newest baby, Belo Baby, at the Ayala Museum’s M Cafe.  It was an intimate lunch with Cristalle Belo herself, along with Belo Baby’s mombassadors Kelly Misa, Nicole Hernandez, and Patty Laurel.

13I was there with some of my momma friends Fleur, Chessy, Tiffany, Tina, Jackie, Cai, and Monica (not in photo), and we had  great time catching up.

We were all given Belo Baby and Belo Sun Expert gift packs to try at home, and I’m happy to report that my family is loving all of Belo’s products.

1I’ve been using Belo Baby Hair and Body Wash on my 2-year-old, Naomi, and it is really gentle on her sensitive skin. Rich in natural cocoa butter, shea butter, and sweet almond oil to nourish and protect her skin, the baby wash is free of harmful chemicals and common allergens.  Love the subtle baby scent too!

10After bath time, we apply Belo Baby Face and Body Lotion on Naomi’s little arms and legs, concentrating on any rough spots.  The lotion is light and non-greasy, and just as safe, gentle, and natural as the body wash.

My 7-year-old Jacob goes a bit crazy with body wash and can finish a whole body in a 2-3 days, so for him, the Belo Baby Bar Soap is a more economical option.  (I’ll be doing a more in-depth review of the product line once we’ve used them for awhile longer, so stay tuned for that.)

What struck me most at Belo Baby’s presentation was when Cristalle explained how the ingredients used in Belo Baby products were “certified natural” — this means that each ingredient is covered by an official certificate issued by international third parties.  Cristalle then says with a smile, “I asked our chemist, Michelle, to bring the certificates with her today, in case any of you would like to have a look.”  Needless to say, this was comforting to know for all the moms in attendance.

Sometimes when choosing products for our children, or even for ourselves, we have to choose between something that is safe, something that is gentle, or something that is all-natural.  But with the Belo Baby line, there’s no need to choose, because each product is all these things and more — crafted with care for the most delicate skin, for the most meticulous moms.

Belo Baby products are safe even for newborns, and can be shared by the whole family.  The body wash and lotion are also recommended for relieving symptoms of atopic dermatitis.

Affordably priced at P79.65 for Baby Belo Bar Soap, P219.75 for Belo Baby Hair and Body Wash (P219.75), and P224.75 for Belo Baby Face and Body Lotion, you can find Belo Baby at SM, Robinsons, and other retailers nationwide.  You can also shop for Belo Baby online at Cudsly and Zalora.
